Recyclart — MAISON JAUNE — 22:30
Just as the skin is wrapped around the body, the ‘Skin-ego’ is a psychical wrapping containing, defining and consolidating the subject. Based Didier Anzieu concept of ‘the Skin-ego’, Moi-Peau invites festival-goers to understand the power of their own skin as a starting point to endless discoveries about themselves and the limits of their bodies. Dgin de Marbre and Angèle Virago switch power dynamics and explore connection, communication, and love through skin interactions in a new queer, poetic and ethic BDSM spectrum.

Moi-Peau (Skin-Ego) — BELGIUM — 2022 — 25'
“Moi-Peau” comes from the “Skin-Ego” concept (defined by Didier Anzieu as a “psychical wrapping containing, defining and consolidating the subject”). This concept pertains to the representation of the body’s limits, and “Moi-Peau” is a performance about the wide-ranging intricacies of skin interactions with a partner under a new queer, poetic and ethic BDSM spectrum. It is centered on BDSM practices (lap dance, wax play, needles play, and clips play) without any power-defined roles; the two artists often switch power dynamics and showcase values like connection, communication and love.
