Biography
Tomas Cali is a brazilian director and editor. His first short film produced in Brazil, Tailor (2017), was selected in more than 140 festivals, among them: Tampere Festival, Uppsala Film Festival, AnimaMundi, Curta Cinema, Gramado Festival (Best Director) and Dok Leipzig.
Recently, he edited the short film Naughty Spot by Jean Costa, selected at Clermont-Ferrand and Premiers Plans d’Angers and After The Red by Marie Sizorn selected at San Sebastian Film Festival. The question of marginality, of those who are called “outsiders”, is the continuing thread of his work.
