Biography
George PEDROSA (Brazil) is a Brazilian filmmaker from Maranhão. During his studies in the Escola de Cinema do Maranhão, Pedrosa met with many like-minded filmmakers and co-created many audiovisual projects that explore and promote LGBTQIA+ awareness mixed with horror. Since 2019 he runs the event ”Quelly – Mostra Internaciona de Cinema de Gênero e Sexualidade”, the first queer film festival from the state maranhão, in Brazil.
