Fed Up Mama

Biography

The Fed-Up Mama lives up to their name: a militant, queer, disabled single parent who is fed up with colonial violence and committed to imagining — and building — something else.

They have found healing from colonial capitalism through community-building and material solidarity, embracing grassroots political organising as both a practice of care and resistance. Since October 2023, they have co-founded and remained an active member of the Brussels4Palestine collective.

Their resistance also takes artistic forms. In 2020, they co-founded the Hishek Bishek DJ collective, a platform that centres anti-colonial approaches to nightlife, collective joy, and cultural organising.

Poetry is another of their weapons. Through words, they transform grief, rage, and longing into sparks that refuse silence. Their poems do not seek comfort; they seek connection, confrontation, and movement. When they speak, you will feel something.
