Biography
MOHAMAD MOE SABBAH (he/they) is a Lebanese filmmaker/artist based in Cologne, Germany. In his work, he observes the world from a queer perspective and questions family structures, love, death, grief, and body representation. Mohamad completed his f irst fiction feature, CHRONIC, in 2017. His previous short films, AWAKENING, WHERE THERE IS NOTHING BUT WATER, and THERE, toured and were awarded prizes in numerous international film festivals. Moe is currently pursuing performance studies at the Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln.
