‘Creative Body’ is a movement-based practice which combines somatic practices, such as Skinner Releasing and Klein technique, with contact dance/partnering and massage.

During the workshop, a series of exercises are presented, first in couples (then later, in group), where one person “uses” the other person’s body to stimulate a series of states: grounding, opening, lengthening, softening, and activation. Within the same exercise, the roles of the executors are equal, meaning both in the couple are giving and receiving at the same time, as to balance our ‘giving/receiving flow’ in such a way that what is good for one is also good for the other.
‘Creative Body’ is a moment of care for ourselves through the other and vice versa, open to all sorts of body practice enthusiasts and amateurs, to reimagine physical intimacy, explore our capacity to connect, touch, and be touched.
IMPORTANT:
The workshop of 3 hours will take place at ULTIMA VEZ (Rue des Etangs Noirs 97, 1080 Molenbeek-Saint-Jean). Please bring comfortable/training clothes.
