Dear partners and audience, artists and friends of Homografía/Homography video & performance festival,
Although Homografía is partly subsidised by local public institutions -here in the Region of Brussels-Capital for which we are grateful, but none in Mexico-, the reality of the cultural sector for independent organisations like ours implies a great fragility. Moreover, we value the practice of democratic prices and the use of subsidies in order to give better access to the festival. Nevertheless, public institutions tend to support less projects like ours and the delay of treatment and the administration of each subsidy is eating up a lot of energy in a phase of growth we are living, when its structure should support this effort but is still fragile to do so.
Donating will make you become an official patron of the festival, allowing us to maintain a structure to continue this amazing adventure that means a lot to our audiences and artists.
